*Storing your Handbag Safely.* When you are not using your bag by storing it carefully to you will be protecting it so next time you want to use it, it will be as good as new. Keep your leather bag in a well ventilated room and away from direct sunlight. Don’t keep them in a plastic container or bag as this may lead to discolouration. By loosely filling the bag with tissue paper it will help the bag keep its shape, but do not over fill as you don’t want to stretch it. Some people prefer to use bubble wrap instead of tissue paper as it is less attractive to moths. If your bag has a dust bag – use it! If you don’t have a dust bag an old pillow case will work just as well. This will help prevent your bag from getting scuffed and scratched along with protecting it from being marked. If like many people you keep your handbag in a draw at work, consider having an old pillow case at the bottom of the draw to protect it from sharp edges.
